Library services and working hours from 27th of April, 2020

Library opening hours on Monday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday from 9 a.m. to 3.45 p.m.

On Saturday and Sunday Central library and faculty libraries are closed.

University community members can borrow books by ordering them in advance in the library catalogue (there is no possibility to use library computers).

Library reading rooms and study spaces are closed for users, group work room reservation service is not provided.

It is recommended to return borrowed books after quarantine is over. Book loan term can be extended in virtual library or electronic catalogue. Library fines for items not returned on time will not be calculated during this period. Clients can return items after quarantine period is over.

We kindly invite to use e-resources and e-books published by publishing house Technologija. Online access to e-resources via VPN network, Ezproxy and KTU virtual library.

If you have questions subject librarians will provide online consultations.Training sessions and training material provided here.

Final year students can contact the Library and receive an excerpt from the book, available in the Library, in digital format.

This service is provided following these requirements:

  • Students should indicate a chapter of the book or pages that are necessary.
  • It is not possible to scan more than 20% of the book content.
  • Service will be provided within 3 days.
