Try the full collection of Taylor & Francis e-books, available to all KTU members

Important | 2026-09-02

KTU Library has signed a one-year evidence-based acquisition (EBA) agreement with the publisher Taylor & Francis regarding access to their e-books.

How does EBA work?
An evidence-based acquisition agreement provides access to a large package of e-books without exceeding a predetermined budget. It is a cost-effective way to evaluate and acquire content that meets the information needs of KTU users. At the end of the agreement period, the library will receive a usage report for the e-books and will be able to select the titles it wishes to retain in the collection without exceeding the pre-agreed cost.

What resources are covered by this contract?

  1. For the first 3 months (from September 1, 2026, to December 1, 2026): Members of the KTU community will have access to all books available on the Taylor & Francis platform.
  2. For the remaining 9 months (from December 1, 2026, to September 1, 2027), the university will have access to collections in specific fields, such as environmental, social, or natural sciences, valued at approximately 175,000 EUR.
  3. After 12 months, the KTU Library, based on user usage and feedback, will select the publications best suited for the collection for permanent retention, without exceeding the pre-agreed cost.

We encourage you to make full use of the resources you need most!
