EIFL invites journal editors, publishers, librarians, and researchers to participate in the webinar “Communications, marketing, visibility and impact of Diamond OA journals”, taking place on 23 July 2026 at 12.00 EEST.
The webinar will focus on how Diamond Open Access journals can strengthen their communication, marketing strategies, visibility, and impact. Representatives of the “Clean Air Journal” and the “East African Journal of Neurological Sciences” will share practical experiences on promoting scholarly journals, engaging audiences, selecting communication channels, and using readership data to support strategic decisions.
During the discussion, panellists will explore key questions related to journal communication activities, including how journals choose appropriate channels, who manages communication and marketing tasks, what resources are required, and how audience data can be analysed and applied. Speakers will also share recommendations for journals seeking to increase their visibility and reach wider communities.
