Russia’s war against Ukraine has made the whole world see the scale of the information war that this country is waging – even against its own people. Information warfare can be defined in many different ways, but it will always involve fake news, propaganda and false reports. Even reliable information channels can make mistakes in assessing the reliability of information.
Researchers from the Digital investigations Lab – Frog Lab at Kaunas University of Technology Faculty of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities invite you to a public lecture. The lecture will take place on 15 November (Wednesday), 2023 at the University Campus Library (Studentų str. 48) from 5 p.m.
The lecture will focus on innovative technologies implemented to ensure the resilience of societies and governance structures to information warfare threats, as well as on training for non-technology experts working in the field of public security in order to be able to master technological innovations more quickly and efficiently.
In the event will take part members of Fr0gLab team:
The public lecture is one of four events of the Baltics4UA project, which aims to empower university-citizen cooperation in dealing with the crisis caused by the war in Ukraine.
The event will be held in English.
