Students and staff of KTU are invted to use email confirmation remote access to ScienceDirect and Scopus databases. It is an alternative remote access option to connect to ScienceDirect and Scopus when VPN or EZproxy services are not used.

Please note, after completing these steps:
- This remote access option is only for ScienceDirect and Scopus databases.
- You will have to create a personal account using KTU email address (with domain @ktu.edu or @ktu.lt) before the setting up the remote access.
- You will have remote access for 180 days to your account and it will automatically be extended each time you sign into your account.
- You may need to repeat this process if you do not sign in to ScienceDirect for a long time.
