Members of the KTU community are invited to participate in an EIFL (Electronic Information for Libraries) webinar to discuss how expert audits inform strategic planning and shape the journal profile.
During the seminar, Chris Armstrong, representing the African Journal of Information and Communication (AJIC), will present an audit of the competencies of AJIC Editorial Advisory Board members. The presentation will examine how the expertise of board members aligns with the topics most frequently addressed in manuscripts submitted to the journal over the past two years.
The seminar will also feature a presentation by Mebratu Mulatu from Hawassa University. He will discuss the results of a quality audit of previous journal issues, present a corrective action plan, and outline the processes and procedures used to conduct regular quality audits.
This seminar will be valuable for journal editors, publishers, research publication administrators, and anyone interested in publication quality assurance and strategic journal management.
Participation is free of charge. We encourage you to register and learn how audit findings can become an important tool for strengthening the performance and reputation of scholarly journals.
