We invite you to attend the webinar “The Many Faces of Citizen Science” by Alan Irwin, which will take place on April 22, 2026, from 15:00 to 16:30.
During the lecture, one of the leading scholars in the field and the originator of the concept of citizen science, Alan Irwin, will discuss the development, diversity, and significance of citizen science for the future relationship between science and society. The event is open to everyone interested in citizen science, public engagement in research, and the democratization of science. Participation is free of charge, but prior registration is required. The event is organized by Vilnius university library and will be held in English, online via Microsoft Teams.
