Using the catalogue, you can search and order books, extend their loan period, find references to the full-text documents 24/7.

Virtual library

This search system allows browsing in all KTU Library’s resources, subscribed databases, open access electronic resources, Lithuanian Academic Electronic Library eLABa and other resources.

Study modules literature search

Use this search if you want to find the recommended literature for a specific module.

Search is performed by entering a study module code.

 

Lithuanian Academic Electronic Library eLABa

Lithuanian Academic Electronic Library Information System (eLABa) – is a national academic electronic library that preserves and provides public access to research and studies documents and their metadata.

eLABa consists of:

  • eLABa managers’ research and study documents metadata database;
  • eLABa users’ database;
  • Lithuanian electronic theses and dissertations database (ETD);
  • Lithuanian research and studies publications database (PDB);
  • Electronic objects repository;
  • Statistical database;
  • Authority records database;
  • Digitalised documents database;
  • Universal decimal classification database (UDK);
  • eLABa administrative database;
  • Lithuanian virtual library (LVL) created by automated libraries, unifying search and access to electronic information resources and virtual services.

Institutional repository KTU ePubl

KTU ePubl is an open access institutional repository of Kaunas University of Technology. It was established as a central location for the collection, long-term preservation and dissemination of scholarly, research and teaching output of the University’s community.
It archives research publications and other materials produced at the University:

  • Scholarly monographs, studies and other research publications;
  • Textbooks and other study materials;
  • Full texts and summaries of doctoral dissertations; Master’s theses;
  • Academic papers published as conference proceedings, etc.

KTU ePubl consist of two sub-systems:

  • ETD (electronic thesis and dissertation) – final degree projects, doctoral dissertations and their summaries metadata, full- text documents.
  • PDB (publication database) – research publication metadata and full-text documents.

Publications written by the University’s employees are registered in PDB sub-system; based on them, the research publications reports are generated and provided for the competitions and attestations of scientists and doctoral students.

From 2016 all final degree projects are inspected using the electronic plagiarism detection system ESAS.
