We invite members of the university community to participate in webinars, organized by representatives of the Wiley database:

  • Illuminating the Past: Exploring Global Knowledge Through Wiley Digital Archives. This session will introduce the Wiley Digital Archives platform, which allows researchers, teachers and students to access rare, previously inaccessible primary sources from institutions such as the Royal College of Physicians, the New York Academy of Sciences and the Royal Anthropological Institute. It will also discuss various topics – from scientific discoveries and cultural rituals to global health and show how the platform’s convenient search and rich metadata help to explore different collections. The seminar is useful for anyone interested in using unique archival documents for scientific research or studies.

  • Current Protocols: A Laboratory Companion for Researchers. During the seminar you will learn what Current Protocols is, how it can help in scientific research projects, and how to publish your work on the Current Protocols platform. You will also hear tips on how to make the most of Current Protocols. All registrants will receive a link to the recording 24 hours after the session. Those who attend the live session will also receive a certificate of participation.

  • Unlocking the Value of Wiley Scientific Journals: Making the Most out of Wiley Online Library. During the seminar, you will learn how to access content on the platform, how to perform simple and advanced searches, how to cite, download and share content, how to search for a specific book or journal, how to use the “favorites” function, what resources are available to authors. The seminar will include time for questions and answers. All registrants will receive a link to the recording 24 hours after the session. Those who attend the live session will also receive a certificate of participation.
