Dr. Gintarė Tautkevičienė, Director of the Library, will present the University Library at the IFLA International seminar

We invite KTU community to register and take part in  the international webinar “Building Resilience: local solutions for diverse challenges”. KTU library director Dr. Gintarė Tautkevičienė will give a presentation at this seminar.

IFLA Library Buildings and Equipment Section is pleased to present the next in its webinet series: This webinet will shine a light on small-but-mighty library building projects supporting and enhancing inclusive, sustainable, resilient communities around the globe. The webinet will include a host of brilliant speakers from around the world, including:

• Emma Alfredsson  will share how collaboration and co-creation were used to develop an innovative meeting place and new premises for Idé A Drottninghög (part of Helsingborg’s library).
• Dr Gintarė Tautkevičienė will present on university library and meeting community needs in Lithuania.
• Tetiana Hranchak will discuss the resilience of libraries in Ukraine, in the face of war.
