This webinar aims to raise awareness among researchers on the role of copyright for cultural heritage, education and research institutions and share good practices.
Key objectives:
- Foster understanding of copyright rules and their application in practice among researchers on the permitted uses of copyright-protected content in order to maximise the potential of providing access to knowledge;
- Support copyright capacity building in research by expanding copyright expertise among practitioners to improve effective licensing, publication and the use of applicable exceptions and limitations to copyright;
- Enhance and promote the exchange of good practices between universities researchers and other research institutions on access to and use of copyright-protected content, with a focus on education or research.
