Training events on social science research infrastructure results

Members of the KTU community are kindly invited to participate in the free training events hosted by Infra4NextGen. This Horizon Europe project is bringing together outputs from social science research infrastructures to help inform the NextGenerationEU programme and European Union youth policy. The webinars, workshops, online courses, educational videos and hackathons are designed for students, researchers, policymakers, and anyone interested in improving youth policy through data-driven insights.

  • Gateway to knowledge: Accessing data from established European social science research programmes. Sergeja Masten and Irena Vipavc Brvar (Slovenian Social Science Data Archives) will focus on accessing data from established social science research programmes and understanding their conditions of use.

  • Unlock hidden patterns in your data: Cluster & factor analysis with R. Aleš Žiberna and Marjan Cugmas (University of Ljubljana) will offer guidance on cluster analysis, principal component analysis, and factor analysis.

  • Reproducible workflows in R. Franz Eder (University of Innsbruck) will include an introduction to efficient, seamless, and reproducible data analysis. The event is recommended for anyone preparing to participate in the second Infra4NextGen Hackathon.

  • Analysing CRONOS data and communicating key insights to policy makers. Participants will be expected to analyse new data collected via the CROss-National Online Survey 3 (CRONOS-3) Panel to produce policy-relevant analyses for a chance to win a share of €4,000.
