The KTU virtual library has an integrated research assistant based on artificial intelligence. It helps you search for scientific information faster and more conveniently, answers your questions, and provides a summary answer with citations and links to the most important sources used.
How to use the research assistant?
- Ask a question in natural language – Lithuanian or English.
- The system selects the 5 most important documents in the search and prepares an answer based on their descriptions and summaries. The answer will include references to sources and citations so that you can check the information yourself and explore the topic further.
Useful guides
- Formulate clear, specific questions.
- You can specify what sources you are looking for: journal articles, books, peer-reviewed and you can also select a date range (e.g., last 12 months; last 5 years, etc.).
- If you are not satisfied with the answer, click “Try again.”
- Use the “View more results from the library search” and “Related research questions” buttons to find even more relevant information.
Important: AI-generated answers may not always be accurate or up-to-date, so we recommend that you check them.
