JoVE Introductory Presentation and Workshop

We invite members of the university community to attend the presentation and practical seminar of the newly subscribed database Journal of Visualized Experiments (JoVE) on August 28 and 29.

Starting in September 2025, KTU will subscribe to a new database – JoVE. This database offers resources for students, lecturers, and researchers in the fields of chemistry, physics, business, and engineering.

JoVE representatives will be visiting our university for two days, so we invite you to register and take part in the introductory presentation and practical seminar, where you will be able to get acquainted with this database and learn how it can be useful for your studies or research.

• On 28 August (12:30 p.m.), during the presentation, you will learn which scientific fields JoVE covers and what benefits it can offer to lecturers and students. The main content categories and possibilities for use in teaching and research will be presented.
• On 29 August (12:30 p.m.), during the practical seminar, you will learn how to effectively search and use JoVE video materials, as well as how to integrate them into Moodle. Practical examples and useful tips for working with this database will be demonstrated.
