Information for SciFinder users

Currently, KTU community members have access to SciFinder (old version) and SciFinder-n (new version). The same user name and password are valid for both SciFinder and SciFinder-n.

This is to inform the reader that until the end of this year, CAS (American Chemical Society)  is about to close access to old version of SciFinder. KTU community members actively use old version of SciFinder as a result, we encourage to use SciFinder-n version and have access to:

• expanded coverage i.e. in biological and agricultural sciences including 500+ million Biosequences and new biosequence patent landscape analysis tool Bioscape;
• new Advanced Reference search allows to use i.e. up-to 50 search fields including Concepts, Boolean operators and truncation in combination with structure;
• Chemscape to analyze patent landscape based on structure search;
• upgraded Retrosynthesis to create predictive reaction pathways for novel substances.
