The first forum to bring together international, national, and local policymakers and funders from three regions: Africa, Europe, and Latin America.
Participants will discuss the policy and funding needs, progress, and challenges of not-for-profit scientific publishing. This will be followed by a question and answer session and a discussion with participants.
Through a series of events, the aim is to share, discuss, and develop policy recommendations and funding mechanisms that would work in different contexts to support fairer, more diverse, and community-led scholarly publishing internationally. More information is available here.
