On 30 March 2026, LIBER and Confederation of Open Access Repositories will host a joint webinar titled “Dealing With Bots: A COAR Resource for Repository Managers.” The session will explore the growing impact of web bots on repositories and library services. While some bots support content discovery and indexing, others can disrupt systems due to aggressive activity.

The webinar will present findings from a 2025 survey and introduce practical guidance for repository managers. The presentation will be delivered by Paul Walk, an experienced expert in information systems and scholarly communication. A live Q&A session will follow the presentation.
