As of January 1, 2026, the KTU community has access to the subscription-based Web of Science artificial intelligence tool, Research Assistant. One of the key advantages of Research Assistant compared to other AI tools is the reliability of the information provided, as its responses are generated from scientific publications indexed in the Web of Science database.
With Research Assistant, users can explore specific research topics in depth, prepare literature reviews, identify the most suitable journals for publications, and discover experts in relevant scientific fields.
Research Assistant is available through the main Web of Science website. Access from the university computers or via the campus wireless network does not require logging into a Web of Science account. Remote access from home is possible by signing in through KTU Single Sign-On or via Ezproxy (for more information on accessing databases from home, please follow the provided link).
