We invite you to participate in a webinar in English to discuss the role of copyright in cultural heritage, education and research institutions and to share best practices.
Webinar objectives:
- To deepen librarians’ understanding of copyright regulation and its application in practice, by presenting legitimate uses of copyrighted content in order to ensure access to knowledge in the most effective way;
- To strengthen the institutional capacity of libraries by enhancing the knowledge of professionals on copyright and its application, from the formalisation of rights to effective licensing and the use of exceptions and limitations;
- To promote cooperation and exchange of best practices between libraries and other institutions on access to and use of copyrighted content, especially in the context of education and research.
