From December 2025 to March 2026, the ScienceUs initiative is organising a four-part online Info Day Series dedicated to strengthening the role of Citizen Science in addressing climate change challenges across Europe.
ScienceUs is a European initiative that promotes citizen science activities in the field of climate action. Its aim is to build a pan-European Citizen Science ecosystem that enhances climate resilience, contributes to evidence-based policymaking, and accelerates citizen-driven innovation.
Recognising that environmental challenges require collective intelligence and cross-sectoral collaboration, the Info Day Series brings together communities, educators, researchers, NGOs, and policymakers to explore how citizens can meaningfully contribute to climate solutions, resilience-building, reliable data collection, and informed decision-making.
Each session focuses on a different pillar of citizen-driven climate action, ranging from community empowerment and volunteer engagement to data reliability and policy impact.
The first Info Day will take place on 17 December 2025 and will focus on Citizen Science for climate adaptation, highlighting the role of local knowledge, education, and community empowerment.
