You are invited to register for the 9th OpenAIRE Open Science Train-the-Trainer Bootcamp, which will take place on 25–29 May 2026.
Open Science and its related practices are constantly evolving, making it essential for the academic community to strengthen relevant competencies and skills. The interactive Train-the-Trainer bootcamp organised by OpenAIRE aims to provide participants with in-depth knowledge and practical skills, enabling them to transfer these competencies to researchers and students and contribute to a more open, transparent, and accessible research ecosystem.
During the programme, participants will explore the principles of Open Science, FAIR guidelines, Intellectual Property Rights, and become familiar with OpenAIRE services as well as the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). They will also develop teaching and communication skills. The five-day intensive training combines interactive lectures, hands-on assignments, and collaborative activities that foster professional networking.
The course is intended for librarians, data stewards, research support staff, and other interested stakeholders who already have basic knowledge of Open Access and research data management. Participants are expected to actively engage throughout the week and to apply the acquired knowledge by delivering at least one training session within their institution or community afterward. You now have until 13 April 2026 to submit your application. You can find more details here.
