Important | 2025-09-01

Since September 1, the university community has had access to the JoVE (Journal of Visualized Experiments) database. This is a database covering the natural sciences, engineering, and social sciences, as well as other related fields, providing videos on the most advanced scientific experiments, research, and methods.

What is JoVE?
JoVE is scientific experiments and methods in video format. It helps to better understand complex research processes and experimental methodologies. This database is particularly useful for both teachers and students, as it makes it easier to acquire practical skills and prepare laboratory work.

What can you find on JoVE?
JoVE Science Education – educational videos designed to explain basic concepts in various disciplines.
JoVE Research – video publications of experiments in the exact sciences, engineering, and biomedicine.
JoVE Business – a collection of videos on finance, marketing, microeconomics, and more.

How to access it?
The database can be accessed through the KTU virtual library (by selecting Database Search), the library’s e-resources page, or directly through the JoVE website.
