On February 11, 2026, at 4:00 PM, an online launch webinar Citizens4Water will take place, focusing on strengthening and promoting citizen science initiatives in the field of water research.
The webinar will showcase a variety of citizen science projects from around the world. Speakers will share their experiences, best practices, and the challenges they have encountered while implementing water-related citizen science initiatives. The event will also mark the official launch of Citizens4Water, a global inventory of citizen science projects focused on water.
Participants will additionally have the opportunity to present their own projects through a concise two-minute pitch. The webinar is relevant to researchers, students, policymakers, non-governmental organizations, and all those interested in citizen science and sustainable water management.
