The LIBER Conference is the most important gathering of academic and research library professionals, bringing together participants from all over Europe, as well as Australia, Canada, the United States and other countries.

The goal of the conference is to identify the most pressing needs for research libraries, and to share information and ideas for addressing those needs.

Many participants are involved in LIBER workshops and meetings before the main conference programme, and are invited to participate in social events and excursions after the conference.

KTU library staff prepared a poster presentation at the conference and are glad to have the opportunity to present the activities of the project “Development of Citizen Science Activities at Kaunas University of Technology”, funded by the EU under the NextGenerationEU programme. The project is implemented in cooperation with the Library and the Faculty of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities. The project manager is Prof. Eglė Butkevičienė, and the team members are Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gintarė Tautkevičienė, Renata Višinskaitė, Aistė Pranckutė and Tautvilė Pocienė. The activities of the Citizen Science Hub received a lot of interest from conference participants.
