On 19 June, an event on citizen science will be organised by the European Research Executive Agency (REA) in collaboration with the EU-funded projects Impetus4cs and European Citizen Science (ECS). The organisers invite researchers, policy makers and members of the public to discuss the value of citizen science, share experiences and good practices, shape policy guidelines and strengthen cooperation.
The event will showcase successful citizen science strategies, highlight best practices in public engagement, discuss policy recommendations for future frameworks and announce the winners of the 2025 EU Citizen Science Prize.
