Starting April 8, 2026, the KTU community has access to CAS Newton, an artificial intelligence (AI) tool for the SciFinder database. This tool draws on information available through SciFinder, ensuring accuracy and thorough data selection.
CAS Newton operates in a secure, closed environment, ensuring that user data remains safe and is not used to train AI models. It offers an experience that other AI tools cannot replicate. CAS Newton allows researchers not only to retrieve information but also to work with complex, multi-part questions. Information is processed and linked to provide practical answers.
After the release of the new tool, each registered CAS SciFinder user will receive a notification by e-mail and in their personal database account.
