Access to databases in Kaunas University of Technology

On the 31st of March, 2021 „eMoDB.LT3: Opening the electronic scientific databases for Lithuania” project will be over. Majority of databases in 2016-2020 were subscribed from eMoDB.LT project funds via Lithuanian Research Library Consortium (LMBA). Members of LMBA consortium carried out detailed analysis, evaluated the price of one publication / book download, need of each database and until the end of 2021 will subscribe 11 databases.

From 1st of April, 2021 until 31st of December, 2021 Kaunas University of Technology will have access to the following databases:

  • ACS Web Editions
  • Clarivate Analytics
  • EBSCO Publishing (EIFL DB package)
  • JSTOR Collections (Arts & Sciences I, Arts & Sciences II, Arts & Sciences III)
  • Nature
  • Sage Journals Online
  • Science Direct Journals
  • Science Direct E-Books
  • Springer Journals
  • Taylor & Francis SSH Library and S&T Library
  • Wiley Online Library

Access to other databases will be granted from Kaunas University of Technology funds. After analyzing community survey results, usage statistics and taking into consideration financial capacities it was decided to subscribe the following databases:

  • ProQuest Academic Complete
  • Emerald Engineering eJournals ir Emerald eJournals
  • IEEE/IET Electronic Library
  • IOPscience EXTRA
  • Passport
  • RefWorks
  • Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC)
  • SciFinder
  • SpringerLink eBooks (Business&Economics; Chemistry&Materials Science; Computer Science; Engineering book collections)
  • Access Engineering

From 1st of April, 2021 Kaunas University of Technology will not have access to the following databases:
