Liuda Purėnienė, A. Purėnas’ wife, handed over his personal library, collected by her husband throughout the years, to KTU library. In 2014 this collection of books, manuscripts and science related documents was taken over by Library’s Rare Publications Group. Diversity and exclusivity of order of this collection inspired an interest in the work of A. Purėnas at the university as well as his personality, as scientist, educator, press and public figure.

Exhibition prepared by Dr E. Korzonaitė, Chief Librarian of Rare Publications Group.
